Bangladesh spinners Shakib Al Hasan, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, and Litton Das dominated the Indian batters for 2.5 days straight before ending the third day of play with a tricky chase of 145. India was 45/4 - tottering on Saturday in Mirpur - after Bangladesh's lower middle-order led by Nurul Hasan Sohan and Taskin Ahmed counter-attacked to take 121 balls per wicket, giving their bowlers things to defend.

India has improved its win percentage from 55.77 to 58.93 with a victory in Dhaka. Australia is at the top, while Sri Lanka (53.33 %) and South Africa (54.55 %) are right behind India.

India's next World Test Championship assignment is against Australia, a four-match series at home in February-March.
